Venue Manager

Arrow Studio & Events is a wedding and event venue in historic, downtown Pottsville, PA and we are rapidly growing! We focus on excellence, hospitality, providing our clients with creative freedom and alleviating stress around event planning.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a team player to assist with day-to-day venue management and facilitation to aid event success.

Applicants must be local and able to drive to Pottsville, PA and available during business hours on Mondays or Tuesdays, Fridays and as needed for weekly events. This role will likely consume 7-10 hours per week depending on event schedule and has a lot of potential for growth within the company. Hours can be flexible but all work must be done before the start of each event.

General Duties: (Include but are not limited to)

• Setting tables and chairs to fit event layout needs
• Coordinating with event rental companies to facilitate pick up and drop off of event materials (china, glassware, speciality tables & equipments)
• Organization and moving of event supply and equipment
• Venue inventory
• Facilitating linen cleaning and pickup process with dry cleaner
• Coordinating with Events Manager on event details and design
• Quality analysis and control of venue
• Light venue cleaning as needed
• Attending weekly Team Meetings to coordinate with Venue Director and Events Manager

Job Requirements:

• Availability during business hours on Monday/Tuesday, Friday and as      needed before and after events
• Some college or similar work experience in event planning or service industry is preferred
• Ability to confidently interact with team, vendors, and be a good listener
• Punctual and reliable - you MUST be able to be onsite
• Organized & detail-oriented
• Interested in personal growth and working with a team in a creative environment
• Pleasant to work with - fun personality and hard working
• Excited by internal growth opportunities
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
• The ability to lift 40 pounds, ability to climb a ladder, move freely and quickly
