F&L Doors is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Garage Door Sales Representative Apprentice. This structured, hands-on program is designed to develop the next generation of sales professionals by first building strong technical knowledge in the field, followed by guided sales training. This approximately 12-month program provides a clear path into a full-time Garage Door Sales Representative role with salary and commission opportunities.

Training Program Overview:

• Phase 1 (0–6 months): Full-time Installer – Pay based on experience. Learn garage door systems, installation methods, troubleshooting, and product knowledge.

• Phase 2 (6–9 months): Blended Role – Installation and Sales Shadowing. Observe customer consultations, quoting, and sales processes. Expected to be with sales two/three days per week.

• Phase 3 (9–12 months): Sales Emphasis – Increased involvement in customer consultations, proposal preparation, and ordering. Installing one/two days – the remainder of the week with sales based on progression.

• Phase 4 (Post 12 months): Full-Time Sales Representative – Base salary plus commission based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn garage door products, installation, and customer applications

• Assist with installations and jobsite work

• Shadow experienced sales representatives and learn the sales process

• Participate in customer consultations and proposal preparation

• Build relationships with homeowners, builders, and contractors

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Interest in building a long-term career in sales

• Strong communication and professionalism

• Mechanically inclined preferred but not required

• Valid driver’s license required
