Quality Control Technician
Position Summary:
• Assisting carpenters on the job and gaining knowledge in constructing pole buildings.
• Handing materials to crew members working on the roof or on ladders
• Keeping job site clean at all times
• Perform quality control inspections
• Complete repairs on pole buildings
• Cut lumber, steel panels, and trim
• Make sure all trash is in correct piles
• Install gutter and snow guards
• Responsible for following all PPB and OSHA safety procedures and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills Required:
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Construction knowledge
• Pay attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as a team
Education/Experience:
College, Trade or Vocational Training preferred, HS graduate or equivalent required
Related experience:
Carpentry, Framing, Hand/Power Tools
Position Details:
• Ability to operate company vehicles traveling to 7 states
• Ability to pull a trailer
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to sit, crawl, kneel, reach, bend
• Ability to follow directions when given tasks
