Outside Sales Trainee

POSITION SUMMARY

Learn all aspects of Quoting, Follow Ups, Site Visits, Walk Ins, Training, Paperwork, Problem Solving, and Sales Events (trade shows, fairs and other events to promote the sale of buildings). Training period will be for approximately 1 year.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES

•    Daily diaries and work logs as required

•    Attend Sales meetings

•    Trade shows, fairs, contractor events, promotional events, open building displays, sales days and other needs to promote the sale of pole buildings 

•    Pioneer will provide a company vehicle, maintenance, gas, insurance included after training period is complete

•    Saturday work will be on a rotating schedule with a maximum of 18 Saturdays per year

•    Other duties as assigned

OFFICE/COMPUTER SKILLS

•    MS Word, Excel

•    Office email

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BA/BS or Associates Degree preferred, HS graduate or equivalent, required

Related experience:

(preferably in construction)    •    Sales    •    Pole Building    •    Building Materials

POSITION DETAILS

•    First (daytime) shift hours, may require OT as needed

•    Must be organized and be able to prioritize work flow

•    Must have good communication skills, verbal and written

•    Must have valid driver’s license

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Drive to customer appointments in 7 states

•    Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
