POSITION SUMMARY

Manage and grow sales with existing and new customers

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Making calls to prospective customers
  • Visit customers and help them with their needs
  • Quote roofing and building projects for current and prospective customers
  • Complete material lists for upcoming projects
  • Foster relationships with new customers
  • Cold calling
  • Account retention
  • Other duties as assigned

OFFICE/COMPUTER SKILLS

  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
  • Internet
  • PQS, AQS, PIMS, Sharepoint
  • Office email

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BA/BS or Associates Degree preferred, HS graduate or equivalent, required

Related experience:

(preferably in construction)

  • Sales
  • Construction related field experience


POSITION DETAILS

  • First (daytime) shift hours, nights and weekends may be required during trade show season
  • Must be organized and be able to prioritize work flow
  • Must have good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must be able to discern customer issues, prioritize them and handle difficult customers with professionalism

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sit for long periods of time at computer/desk/vehicle
  • Visual acuity for reading, computer workstations
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to operate office equipment
