Position Summary:
The General Manager for F&L Doors is responsible for managing all aspects of the F&L Doors division across the Hazleton, Schuylkill Haven, and New Tripoli locations. This role oversees employees, warehouses, inventory, purchasing, scheduling support, field efficiency, sales, expenses, profit margins, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and overall operational performance. The General Manager works closely with office staff, warehouse managers, installers, and other departments to ensure efficient daily operations and continued growth of the division.

Position Type:
• Full-Time
• First daytime shift hours
• Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Some weekends and evenings may apply
• May need to come in earlier on occasion
• Flexible work times may be approved if communicated with and approved by Kevin Dicello or Bob Greene
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all facets of the F&L Doors division, including P&L, sales, expenses, profit margins, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Oversee F&L Doors operations for the Hazleton, Schuylkill Haven, and New Tripoli locations
• Supervise employees and provide leadership across the division
• Be involved in the hiring and termination process
• Oversee warehouse managers and warehouse operations for all locations
• Establish and manage shipping and receiving procedures
• Manage inventory, including marking doors, proper storage, and proper handling of doors
• Work with office staff on scheduling garage door installs
• Assist with purchasing doors and confirming manufacturer acknowledgements are accurate
• Work with installers to improve efficiency in the field
• Analyze current processes and propose changes to reduce repetitive tasks and streamline workflow within the department and between departments
• Communicate professionally with employees, installers, office staff, vendors, customers, and other departments
• Maintain organization and accountability across daily operations
• Support problem-solving and continuous improvement throughout the division
• Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• BA/BS or Associate Degree preferred
• Related experience preferred, ideally in construction
• Warehousing and purchasing experience preferred
• Employee management experience preferred
• Inventory management and inventory control experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
• Internet and office email proficiency required
• Spruce experience or knowledge of inventory software preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
Position Requirements:
• Must be organized and able to prioritize work under minimal supervision

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work closely with other departments as needed
• Must be able to analyze workflows and recommend process improvements
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time at a computer or desk
• Must be able to walk throughout the office and warehouse areas
• Must be able to occasionally walk outside in various weather conditions
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Must have visual acuity for reading and computer workstation use
• Must be able to operate office equipment
• Must be able to operate PITs
• Ability to lift to 75 lbs.
