POSITION SUMMARY
Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the operations and activities surrounding movement of vehicles. Assist Manager with the sourcing of vehicles and equipment. Track and monitor that insurance coverage and fleet list is up to date.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Increase overall efficiency and utilization of our fleet
· Maintain all insurance records and fleet listings
· Monitor that vehicle are being taken care of by knowing who is using them and when *Receive all vehicle requests*
· Reporting damages if damages occur
· Report any safety hazards immediately
· Be available by phone and email off hours when a vehicle or equipment need arises
· Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
· Must be organized and be able to prioritize work and work under minimal supervision
· Must have strong communication and documentation skills
· Must have computer skills, primarily Microsoft Office Suite
· Must understand vehicles and equipment
· Must be able to multi-task and react quickly to change
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
College, Trade or Vocational Training preferred, HS graduate or equivalent required
Related Experience: *Microsoft Office *Fleet and Logistics Management *Dispatching *Supervisory Experience 0-3 years; *Will train the right candidate
POSITION DETAILS
· First shift, daytime hours (Monday – Friday 5am – 2pm). Some evenings and weekends may apply
· Evening shift, afternoon/evening hours (Monday – Thursday 10am – 8pm). Some evenings and weekends may apply
· Must be reachable by phone and email during off hours for vehicle and equipment needs
· Ability to perform real-time tasks, prioritize tasks and complete them within a definite period
· Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as PPB rules, operating procedures, or other traffic related documents
· Ability to analyze and propose changes conducive to eliminate or reduce repetitive tasks, streamlining workflow
· Ability to source vehicles and equipment for best options to recommend to management for final decision
· Ability to work within multiple departments to coordinate efficiencies across the business segments
· Ability to prepare and distribute reports on performance, efficiency, miles, stops, GPS violations and other noted items
- Ability to hook up trailers to trucks
- Ability to load equipment and secure to trailer 
· Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check
· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Communicate effectively using speech, vision, hearing and writing
· Exposed to outdoor elements and temperatures ranging from cold to heat at times while managing fleet
· Ability to sit at computer and work long periods of time while sitting
