Skilled and Trades Engineering/Design Construction, Installation and Mechanical

POSITION SUMMARY

Create drawings, layouts, and sketches for pole buildings, and assisting in other areas of the engineering department as needed.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Use AutoCAD to create detail drawings
  • Complete layouts and sketches for buildings
  • Manage digital versions and archiving
  • Assist in creating job material lists for pole buildings and installation jobs as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • AutoCAD
  • Civil and Structural Engineering
  • MEP Design
  • Drafting
  • Construction
  • Pole Building
  • Microsoft Outlook


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

 College, Trade or Vocational Training preferred, HS graduate or equivalent required

Related experience:

Engineering, Construction

  • AutoCAD experience
  • Construction experience preferred

  • Pole Building experience is a plus
  • Engineering Degree is a plus

POSITION DETAILS

  • First (daytime) shift hours, some weekends and evenings may apply
  • Must be organized and be able to prioritize and work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work full-time from Pioneer Main Campus in Schuylkill Haven, PA
  • Must have working internet

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Communicate effectively using speech, vision, hearing and writing
  • Visual acuity for reading, computer workstation
