Construction Accounting Specialist

We are government and commercial construction company with an office staff of 7 in our 50th year of operation.

We are seeking a Construction Accounting Specialist.  Initial responsibilities will be managing and entering government payroll and accounts payable while our AP/Payroll Clerk is out on maternity leave. This includes managing the general ledger and conducting account reconciliations.  Additional responsibilities to include government reporting, insurance certificate management, and other related duties.  


Longer term, we're hoping for a candidate capable of growing and transitioning to oversee contracts and A/R as well as preparing quarterlies for our CPA.  As a small business, we need a candidate capable of learning and performing all aspects of our internal accounting and assisting with some management duties.


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $50,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
