Cressona Agway is in the midst of celebrating its new ownership, marking a significant milestone for the beloved establishment within the Cressona community. Renowned as a longstanding fixture, this family-owned business specializes in a diverse array of offerings including pet and animal provisions, lawn and garden essentials, as well as home heating solutions like wood pellets and coal. Additionally, they provide propane tank refills and sales, embodying a comprehensive service ethos.

In commemoration of this occasion, Cressona Agway is hosting a charitable event in support of the local SPCAs, namely the Ruth Steinert Memorial and Hillside branches. To raise funds, they are offering tickets for a delectable chicken BBQ dinner comprising a half chicken, baked potato, and a roll, priced at $13 each. These tickets are conveniently available for purchase at the store and both SPCA locations, with all proceeds to be equally divided and donated to benefit both SPCA sites. 

Moreover, attendees are encouraged to contribute to the cause by depositing donations into designated bins placed within the store premises during the celebratory event. Excitement is brewing as the festivities promise entertainment, giveaways, enticing prizes, and light refreshments. 

Notably, representatives from select vendors will be on-site to provide insights into their products, catering to inquiries from patrons. Furthermore, a knowledgeable expert from the Penn State Extension will be present to address queries regarding lawn and garden care, enriching the overall experience for attendees. Cressona Agway eagerly anticipates engaging with the community, seeking valuable feedback to enhance their service offerings and strengthen community ties.
